6labs Gameplay Recorder

The 6labs Gameplay Recorder is a lightweight application that automatically records gameplay for a configured game and uploads each session to your 6labs Gameplay Library.

Once the recorder is set up, no manual action is required. Recording starts automatically when the game launches, stops when the game closes, and the completed session uploads in the background.

Flow diagram: install and set up with an App ID, the recorder waits for the game, the game launches and recording begins, the game closes and recording stops, upload starts automatically in the background, then either the upload succeeds and lands in the Gameplay Library or it fails and is kept on disk. In both cases the recorder returns to waiting.
How a recording session flows from setup through upload.

How It Works

  • Automatic recording: The recorder runs in the background and waits for the configured game to launch. Recording follows the game lifecycle automatically, so you do not need to start or stop it manually.
  • Automatic upload: Completed sessions are automatically uploaded to your 6labs Gameplay Library. You can also retain local copies on your PC.
